My holistic concept to design merges figurative arts, CGI, type design and art direction, to create works and projects where these components are amalgamated not only stylistically but also from a technical point of view.
From 2019 I am exploring new typographic solutions and techniques, such as GAN-generated glyphs, experimental shape manipulations and more.

New Economy – Art book [2020]
“New Economy” is a collection of sci-fi short stories, at the same time it is also presented as a socio-economic analysis of the era in which we live and a graphic design art-book.
All the text are generated by an AI (a language processing protocol), rearranged into coherent stories.
The illustrations are obtained through generative manipulations of the artworks realised during 2019 and 2020.
Installations and paintings
Alex Ortiga visual aesthetic focuses on the manipulation and the hybridization of the digital with the natural, the blending and corrosion of the two worlds, which usually exist in parallel. Sometimes without realizing it they mix, corrupt and destroy each other.
